Terms & Conditions - Our terms of service

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the services provided by Your Claims Portal ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Services Provided

Your Claims Portal offers assistance, support, and guidance throughout the claims process for various types of claims, including but not limited to mis-sold investments, mis-sold pensions, housing disrepair, Section 140A claims, Section 75 claims, and business energy claims. We provide access to our file share app, which allows you to securely upload documents and receive guidance from our team.

Please note that we are an unregulated business and do not provide legal advice. Our services are intended to assist individuals in pursuing their claims by providing general guidance, document preparation, and facilitating connections with partner law firms and claims management companies who can offer specialised legal advice when needed.

2. No Win, No Fee

Our services operate on a no win, no fee basis. If your claim is unsuccessful, you will not be required to pay any fees to us. Our fees are only applicable if your claim is successful and a compensation amount is awarded. In such cases, our agreed-upon success fee, as outlined in the Fee Agreement, will be deducted from the total compensation amount.

3. Customer Obligations

By using our services, you agree to the following:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding your claim(s)

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

  • Cooperate with us in a timely manner, including providing necessary documentation and information

  • Keep your account login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use


4. Confidentiality

Any letters, documents, or other materials provided by Your Claims Portal ("Portal Materials") are confidential and proprietary. You agree to treat the Portal Materials as confidential and not copy, reproduce, reuse, or share them with any third parties without our express written consent.

5. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations or liabilities that have already accrued.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services. We do not assume responsibility for the actions, representations, or omissions of partner law firms or claims management companies.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom.

8. Changes to the Agreement

We reserve the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review this Agreement periodically for any changes. Your continued use of our services after the posting of any modifications constitutes acceptance of those changes.
